The Lighthouse Inn - New London
A member of Historic Hotels of America, this hotel is known for several haunted rooms and two Victorian women whose ghosts still roam the property.
 
Homespun Farm B&B  - Griswold
The owners of this bed & breakfast have had run-ins with the homestead's original owner,
Simon Brewster, even though he's been dead for more than 200 years.

Formerly the residence of wealthy shipbuilder Nathaniel Lord, the inn is said to be home to a female ghost--perhaps the captain's wife--whose perfume you may smell, even though she's nowhere to be found.
 
The Tides Inn By-The-Sea
The Tides Inn By-The-Sea in Kennebunkport, Maine, was built as an inn in 1899, and original owner Emma Foss still haunts the place and lets the current owners know if she doesn't like changes they've made.

Peace With-Inn - Fryburg
This inn was home to one family for 10 generations, starting in 1777, and continuing until Chester and Alice Black, the last family members in residence, died in the house in the mid-1970s. The present innkeepers consider the Blacks their “spiritual innkeepers” when they find decorations re-arranged and doors locked or hear floorboards creaking.
 
 
Greenville Inn - Greenville
At this inn, one former guest reported an encounter with a lovely young female ghost. If you run into her, do be kind, as according to the guest's story, she's a sweet spook.
 
The Lucerne Inn - Holden
This hotel is said to have a haunted room--Room 8--where all sorts of mysterious shenanigans take place, such as shadows on the wall and voices outside the door even when nobody's there.

The Orleans Inn - Orleans
Ed Maas, owner of the Orleans Inn on Cape Cod, says that during the Roaring '20s, the inn was a brothel, and "one of the ladies was murdered. We have named her Hannah, and she is quite happy here at the inn. She opens doors, turns on lights and lights candles. She makes her presence known through a cool breeze of air from no known source. She also has appeared as an apparition."
 
Penny House Inn & Spa - Eastham
This haunted inn is home to the "Goodnight Ghost" and other playful spirits. Ghost stories from this inn are well documented in the book, "Haunted Houses of Cape Cod."

Inn at Jackson
Do you believe in ghost stories? Jason, once a trusted workman at this inn, committed suicide as a young adult, yet often comes back to check on repairs at the inn. Guests have been awakened by hammering, and staff members have caught glances of movement and activity as they check on rooms, primarily on the second and third floor.
 
Mount Washington Hotel & Resort  - Bretton Woods
The venerable grand hotel built by Joseph and Carolyn Stickney is still haunted by "The Princess," as Mrs. Stickney was known when she remarried a French prince after her husband's death. A variety of ghostly happenings has been observed by guests and staff.
 
Sise Inn - Portsmouth
This 1881 Victorian mansion turned inn may have a few unseen guests, particularly on the third floor, where resident ghosts have been reported to play with the ice machine and lock and unlock doors.
 
Sugar Hill Inn - Franconia
There are several haunted tales associated with this inn. One evening, an elderly couple came to visit, then disappeared through a locked door. A shadowy male figure has been seen in the kitchen, where the original owner of the inn passed away.

As the story goes, a little girl was burned to death in a house that once stood on the site of this Holiday Inn hotel near Buffalo, New York, and her playful spirit inhabits the hotel. You might hear her jumping on your bed or running through the hall at night.

often find themselves locked out. At one time, the room's door had to be removed from
its hinges because it wouldn't budge. Paranormal researchers have collected video and

The Bush House - Index
 
I couldn't find an online site for this hotel, however it has been investigated
by A.G.H.O.S.T and WSGS.  The hotel was built in the 1880's and there
have been reports of the apparitions of a woman and 2 or 3 children,
items being moved, odd noises and smells.
